Solidarity or Egoism?
Skrevet af: Douglas A. Hibbs
In connection with the project on public trust in politicians in Denmark, Hibbs presented for the Rockwool Foundation Research Unit a survey of the most important elements of existing knowledge concerning the factors which decide the way the Danish electorate votes. Taking his starting point in international theories of sociotropic and egocentric voting behaviors and in existing Danish data, Hibbs explores the question of whether it is narrow individual economic advantage or considerations of the wider social good that are vital for Danes when they decide how to vote.
This book is the first in a series of two on the theme of “Voters in Scandinavia”.
