Student assistant wanted for the ROCKWOOL Foundation’s project database

The ROCKWOOL Foundation is seeking a student employee with an interest in working with data in the social sciences. The position is approximately 15 hours per week and ideal for a curious, independent, organized, and committed student with at least 1½ years remaining in their studies. Preferred fields of study include social sciences, natural sciences, or IT (e.g., stud.polit., stud.mat-øk., stud.scient.soc., stud.polyt., etc.).

You will support the Data Manager with upkeep and coordination of our project database at Statistics Denmark. Experience with statistical or econometric software, especially STATA (our primarily used program), is a plus but not required.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Archiving and registering data received from Statistics Denmark.
• Processing data requests and distributing datasets to researchers.
• Reviewing and updating data documentation.
• Assisting with general data handling and database maintenance.

This position offers experience in an impactful social science research organization with opportuni-ties to develop the project database while working with researchers in a comfortable workplace lo-cated in central Copenhagen.
